The tabs along the bottom
The three you start with, the seven you can promote, and what happens past five.
The bar along the bottom starts with three: Home, Library and Search. Plus Settings, which is always there and cannot be removed.
Mediagg carries more kinds of content than a bar has room for, so which tabs you get is yours to choose. Open Settings, find Tabs, and press Arrange — see What the bar shows.
What you can promote
Seven of the Library's sections can be lifted out onto the bar:
SubscriptionsLocal mediaMedia serversPlaylistsFavouritesDownloadsHistory
These are shortcuts, not new screens. A promoted tab opens the same section the Library already lists, which saves two taps rather than creating a second place for the same content to live.
Past five
The bar holds five. Choose more than that and the extras move into a More sheet at the end — and because More takes a slot of its own, the overflow starts one early.
An arrangement naming something that is no longer there is not rejected. If a tab you had chosen has since been folded into another screen, it is quietly dropped from your arrangement and the rest is kept.
Search
Search has two halves, switched at the top: Library and Discover.
Library looks across everything you already have at once — your subscriptions, what is on the device, and the libraries of any servers you have signed in to. Discover asks podcast directories instead — its prompt is Find a podcast to subscribe to. They are kept apart so that a show you follow is not listed beside a directory's copy of itself.
It is a tab by default because it is the fastest route to something you know you have.
